View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] On the 20th, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education and Mokpo City signed a business agreement to promote field experience learning at the Mokpo City Hall Situation Room, attended by Superintendent Jang Seok-woong, Mayor Kim Jong-sik, and officials from both organizations.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate in utilizing Mokpo City's modern historical and cultural heritage from the Japanese colonial period as field experience learning sites, enabling students to design their future through understanding the past.
As a result of this agreement, students will have the opportunity to experience the future value of Mokpo, a cultural tourism city known as ▲one of Korea's four major tourism hub cities ▲a preliminary cultural city ▲Korea's first "City of Taste."
The two organizations will actively cooperate in ▲utilizing human and material resources for educational activities ▲sharing information and promoting various project planning and operations ▲field experience learning matters ▲development of field experience learning materials and program operations.
Meanwhile, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education collaborated with Jeonnam Province and the Jeonnam Rural Convergence Industry Support Center to operate the nation's first "Elementary School Homeschool Experience Box" program to alleviate the management difficulties of certified rural convergence industry businesses that have seen a decrease in visitors due to COVID-19.
