Jeon Hang-il Appointed as New CEO of eBay Korea, Former President of eBay Japan
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] eBay Korea announced on the 20th that it has appointed Jeon Hang-il, president of eBay Japan (50·photo), as the successor to President Byun Kwang-yoon.
The new President Jeon graduated from Yonsei University, earned a master's degree in business administration, and has worked in various roles including growth strategy planning, new business and product development, and strengthening innovation capabilities at Lotte Department Store, LG International, and Samsung C&T.
He joined eBay Korea in 2003, served as head of sales in 2016, and became president of eBay Japan in 2018.
