Yangcheon-gu, Gender Equality Fund Support Project Call for Proposals
Total of 44 Million KRW, Support Within 4 Million KRW Per Group... Pursuing Equal Social Participation and Rights Enhancement
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) is calling for applications for the 2021 Gender Equality Fund support projects from January 18 to February 5.
The district has been promoting the Gender Equality Fund projects to spread a culture of gender equality and realize the core values of a women-friendly city, including enhancing women's rights, safety, care, employment and entrepreneurship, and social participation.
The support scale is within the interest income of the fund, totaling 44 million KRW, with a maximum of 4 million KRW per organization (with a self-contribution rate of 20% or more).
The eligible applicants are nonprofit public interest organizations or corporations located in the region that carry out projects and activities to promote gender equality, social participation of women with career interruptions, and the welfare and rights protection of women. The target projects include spreading gender equality, women's safety, work-family balance and care, women's jobs and social participation, and youth women's rights enhancement projects.
Organizations wishing to apply can download the application form from the Yangcheon-gu website notice board and submit it along with the required documents to the Family Policy Division of the district office.
The submitted projects will be finally decided through a review in March.
