Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Signs Contract with KSS Shipping for One LPG Carrier at 87.5 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, the shipbuilding holding company of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, announced on the 19th that it has signed a construction contract for one 91,000 cubic meter (㎥) dual-fuel liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier with Korea KSS Shipping. The contract amount is 87.5 billion KRW.
The vessel ordered this time measures 230m in length, 36.6m in width, and 23.6m in height. It is scheduled to be delivered to the shipowner in the second half of 2022 and will be chartered to PTT, Thailand's largest state-owned oil company.
