Chosun University Hospital Introduces State-of-the-Art Digital Angiography Equipment
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Chosun University Hospital announced on the 19th that it has additionally introduced and is operating the state-of-the-art digital angiography equipment ‘ARTIS Q CEILING’.
‘ARTIS Q CEILING’ is an advanced angiography device incorporating cutting-edge technology from the German company SIEMENS, and it is the first to be introduced in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.
Equipped with SIEMENS’ proprietary technology ‘Flat emitter,’ it can produce high-resolution images even at low radiation doses, enabling accurate diagnosis. The reduced imaging time also lowers radiation exposure, allowing procedures to be performed safely and quickly.
In particular, the ‘DynaCT’ function, which can generate soft tissue images similar to CT scans, can distinguish even minute lesions that were previously invisible, offering the advantage of replacing CT scans used to confirm results after interventional procedures.
Additionally, SIEMENS’ unique PBV function, which measures actual blood flow volume, improves the diagnosis and procedural accuracy of liver tumors. Procedures such as transarterial chemoembolization performed for hepatocellular carcinoma patients can also be conducted more accurately and rapidly through the ‘Embolization Guidance’ function.
