Fire at High School in Jung-gu, Seoul... About 60 Students and Staff Evacuated
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] A fire broke out at a high school in Jung-gu, Seoul, causing about 60 students and staff to evacuate.
According to the fire authorities on the 19th, the fire occurred at around 9:17 a.m. on the second floor of the Changjo Building at Seongdong Technical High School in Jung-gu, Seoul. The fire was fully extinguished at around 11:44 a.m., about an hour and a half later.
About 60 students and staff evacuated due to the fire, but fortunately, there were no casualties reported.

The fire authorities estimate that the fire started in a storage room next to the school's freight elevator and plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire.
