This challenge is a campaign to convey the determination and message of local governments preparing for the transition to local autonomy, triggered by the complete revision of the Local Autonomy Act and the introduction of the autonomous police system.
The campaign, launched in a relay format by the Presidential Committee on Local Autonomy and Decentralization since the 16th of last month, proceeds by participants taking photos with messages supporting local autonomy, posting them on SNS, and then nominating the next participant.
Mayor Kim, who participated in the challenge, said, “Together with the citizens of Yangsan, we will open the era of local autonomy where residents are the owners in the Local Autonomy 2.0 era.”

This campaign was joined upon the nomination of Lee Seon-ho, mayor of Ulju County, and Mayor Kim nominated the next participants: the mayor of Gijang County, the chairman of Yangsan City Council, and the chief of Yangsan Police Station.
