Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education "Ensuring Budget Transparency" Public Recruitment of Citizen Monitoring Group
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 18th that it will publicly recruit the ‘1st Budget Proper Use Citizen Monitoring Group (hereinafter referred to as the Monitoring Group)’ for the efficient execution of the budget.
The public recruitment period is from the 18th to the 29th, and any Jeonnam resident can download the application form from the Office of Education website and apply by mail, visit, or fax to each city and county education support office.
The Monitoring Group, expected to be composed of up to 50 residents, will be active for two years from March to February 2023. The Monitoring Group will carry out tasks such as ▲ requesting correction of illegal budget and fund expenditures ▲ proposals related to budget savings or revenue increase ▲ on-site investigations related to budget waste.
The Office of Education plans to provide incentives such as commendations and rewards to outstanding members among the Monitoring Group who discover budget waste projects or propose budget-saving measures, contributing to the efficient operation of educational finances.
