This donation was prepared to help vulnerable groups in the region endure the winter and to foster a culture of sharing. The Mapo Happiness Sharing Food Market is a mart exclusively for vulnerable groups operated by the Salvation Army. It is a welfare community that contributes to the stability of low-income households by receiving donations of daily necessities, sharing them with neighbors in need, and selling them.
The donated items are the Bestheim PTC Power Heater currently sold by Public Shopping. With more time spent at home due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic and the hardships caused by the cold wave, the heaters aim to provide warmth to those in need.
Public Shopping is leading the realization of social value and continuously carrying out social contribution activities in the local community. In addition to the Happiness Sharing Food Market, it has donated 1,200 books to a library in the Mapo area where its headquarters is located, maintained clean streets around Sangam-dong, and provided meal services at the Mapo Senior Welfare Center.
