GS Retail announced on the 18th that it will hold a joint marketing event called "2021 Great Lunar New Year with GS" with GS Shop from the 19th of this month to the 4th of next month.
This event will be conducted across all distribution channels, including GS25 (convenience stores), GS The Fresh (supermarkets), GS Fresh Mall (online grocery platform), as well as GS Shop's TV home shopping and mobile mall, offering prizes and purchase benefits worth a total of 300 million KRW.
Among customers who purchase event products through all channels, 30 customers from each company, totaling 60, will be selected by lottery to receive 'Golden Ox Coins' worth a total of 60 million KRW. The Golden Ox Coin is a pure gold coin weighing 11.25g, engraved with an ox character and a lucky pouch.
Additionally, gift certificates will be given to encourage existing customers to try each company's shopping services. GS Retail will provide 2,021 customers who purchase Lunar New Year gifts with a 5,000 KRW GS Shop mobile gift certificate through a lottery, while GS Shop will give a 5,000 KRW GS25 gift certificate to customers who make two or more purchases totaling over 70,000 KRW on its mobile app.
Furthermore, GS Retail will run additional promotions, such as giving mobile gift certificates equivalent to 5-10% of the purchase amount to customers who buy Lunar New Year gift sets above a certain amount at GS25 and GS The Fresh.
