View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] Chinese TV manufacturer Skyworth has unauthorizedly used photos of LG Electronics' innovative products.
Skyworth revealed its rollable OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TV product advertisement photos during the CES2021 online briefing. The issue is that these photos match the rollable OLED TV advertisement photos LG Electronics released last October.
Skyworth showed the rollable TV screen unfolding on both sides of the photo, which was identical to the photos of LG Electronics' rollable TV 'LG Signature OLED R' released as the world's first last October. At that time, LG Electronics depicted the black rollable screen unfolding in the photo, but Skyworth added only a red image to the TV screen and plagiarized it.

Meanwhile, in China, there have recently been cases of indiscriminately copying product designs that are actually sold in Korea. Last October, Xiaomi filed a patent for a foldable phone design with a folding screen at the China Intellectual Property Office, which was very similar to Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Z Fold2 design.
