Gyeongnam Province and Provincial Office of Education Collaborative Project, Promoting the 'Future Education Model School Establishment Project'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do and the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education announced on the 14th that they will promote the ‘Future Education Model School Construction Project’ using advanced educational technology to create ‘Gyeongnam, a Special Province for Educational Talent,’ a core task of the provincial government.
The ‘Future Education Model School Construction Project’ aims to develop a future education system transition model using advanced educational technology (EduTech) and to cultivate talents who will lead future society.
For the first time, Gyeongnam Province and the Office of Education allocated the project budget in a 1:1 ratio to promote the project.
In the first year, three schools were promoted last year, and this year, two additional schools will be selected and operated with improvements.
The main contents of the project are ▲ establishment of a wireless internet environment ▲ distribution and utilization of one smart device per student ▲ restructuring of future education spaces.
In particular, by providing students with smart devices, creative classes are possible in various locations, and they can be used to solve assignments after school.
The project proved to be even more effective in line with the trend of online classes becoming active after COVID-19.
