6 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gyeongnam, 1 Death Reported (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] As of 1:30 PM on the 14th, Gyeongnam Province announced that a total of 6 confirmed cases have occurred: 2 in Changwon, 2 in Jinju, 1 in Haman, and 1 in Gimhae.
First, in Changwon, one confirmed case related to the Jinju International Prayer Center and one with an unknown infection route were classified as cases 1660 and 1663. This brings the total confirmed cases related to the Jinju International Prayer Center to 63.
In Jinju, one person who had contact with a confirmed case in the province and one with an unknown infection route were classified as cases 1664 and 1665.
The confirmed case in Haman is a family member of an existing confirmed patient and was classified as case 1661.
The confirmed case in Gimhae was a contact of a confirmed case related to a Busan insurance company and was classified as case 1662. This brings the total confirmed cases related to the Busan insurance office to 20.
Additionally, a patient in their 50s who was hospitalized and receiving treatment at Jinju Gyeongsang National University Hospital has died.
Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province have increased to 1,662 (287 hospitalized, 1,369 discharged, 6 deceased).
