View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) is recruiting new tenant companies to move into the Youth Startup Support Center and the Small and Medium Enterprise Startup Support Center until the 25th.
The district operates the Youth Startup Support Center (44-1, Sangdo-ro 47-gil) and the Small and Medium Enterprise Startup Support Center (35, Sangdo-ro) to nurture (preliminary) entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and technical skills.
This recruitment targets a total of 5 locations: 4 coworking spaces within the Youth Startup Support Center and 1 open-type single office within the Small and Medium Enterprise Startup Support Center.
Eligibility for application is preliminary entrepreneurs aged 39 or younger for the coworking spaces, and early-stage startups within 3 years of establishment for the single office.
Eligible industries include manufacturing, technical services, computer operation-related businesses, etc. Businesses that are temporarily closed, emit environmental pollution, or have outstanding debts are restricted from moving in.
Individuals or companies wishing to move in can submit a business plan and other documents by visiting the Economic Promotion Division or by emailing the person in charge at blueyim2@dongjak.go.kr.
The district plans to conduct a comprehensive review through the Small and Medium Enterprise Startup Support Review Committee, composed of professors and company representatives in related fields next month, evaluating ▲ originality of startup items and technology development ▲ understanding of the business and feasibility ▲ growth potential ▲ suitability for tenancy, and will post the results on the district website.
Selected companies can use the facilities of the coworking space for one year at a fee of 360,000 KRW, and the single office can be rented for two years at an affordable annual rent of around 410,000 KRW, with the possibility of a one-year extension through review.
Additionally, the district plans to provide various startup-related programs, systematic management, and business coaching for tenant companies.
