According to the legal community on the 12th, the Economic Crime Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Jumincheol) arrested and indicted Son Mo, a former journalist, on charges of violating the Attorney-at-Law Act and fraud on the 30th of last month.
It is reported that Son embezzled a total of 630 million won from January to July 2019 under the pretext of resolving various lawsuits faced by the current and former executives of Haeduck Powerway, a ship supplies manufacturer affiliated with Optimus, during the company's acquisition process.

However, while detained at Seoul Detention Center, Son was diagnosed with COVID-19, and the court decided to suspend his detention on the 5th. He is now released and reportedly receiving treatment at a residential treatment center.
