Fire in a Vinyl Greenhouse in Gwangju, No Casualties Reported
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] At around 12:22 AM on the 12th, a fire broke out in a vinyl greenhouse in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The fire was completely extinguished by the dispatched firefighters after about 50 minutes, but it spread to nearby parked vehicles and prefabricated buildings, causing an estimated property damage of 30 million won according to the fire department.
There were no reported casualties.
Out of seven vinyl greenhouses, five were partially destroyed, and some vehicles and crops were burned.
