KT ENG Core → KT Engineering Company Name Change.. Appointment of CEO Park Jong-yeol
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] ENG Core, a KT Group affiliate, has changed its name to KT Engineering and appointed former KT SCM Strategy Office head Park Jong-yeol as its new CEO.
On the 12th, KT Engineering announced the name change along with the inauguration of Park Jong-yeol as the new CEO (President). KT Engineering, established in 1986, is KT's engineering specialist group company with expertise in network, energy, and construction sectors.
Park Jong-yeol, CEO of KT Engineering, said, "With this name change, we plan to enhance our image as an engineering specialist company and leverage extensive experience in the SCM field to innovate our business structure and management infrastructure." He added, "We will strengthen cooperation with the KT Group to contribute to KT's transformation into a digital platform company."
The new name, 'KT Engineering,' signifies the company's ambition to become the definitive engineering specialist within the KT Group through capability specialization. It also reflects the aspiration to contribute to KT's evolution into a digital platform specialist company (Digico) by providing telecommunications, IT infrastructure, and integrated control systems to KT.
