According to Hamyang County, on that day, an executive meeting was held in the county office's large conference room, presided over by Mayor Seo Chun-soo, where reports on important pending projects to be promoted by each department were given, and cooperation from each department was sought for smooth project implementation.
Mayor Seo said, "Fortunately, despite the strongest cold wave and heavy snowfall last week, no major damage occurred," and emphasized, "Since frequent cold waves are expected to continue, please thoroughly prepare to prevent damage by managing and devising measures for vulnerable groups."
He continued, "Recently, AI confirmed cases have continued in nearby areas, and since African Swine Fever also poses a high risk of transmission, special measures are required," and requested, "Please ensure thorough quarantine measures to maintain Hamyang's status as a livestock disease-free area through proactive blocking quarantine."
He also urged, "Please be thorough in current tasks such as recent cold wave and heavy snowfall damage, fire occurrences, promotion of the 3rd government disaster relief fund application, as well as securing national and provincial funds and increasing the population."
