Assemblyman Kim Byung-wook Files Police Complaint Against Gaseyeon Over 'Intern Sexual Assault Allegation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Assemblyman Kim Byung-wook (Pohang City Nam-gu Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk·Independent) has filed a complaint with the police against Garoseuro Research Institute (Gaseyeon), which raised allegations of sexual assault against an intern targeting him.
On the 11th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that Assemblyman Kim filed a complaint against Gaseyeon on the 9th for defamation by false facts.
Earlier, on the 6th, Gaseyeon raised suspicions through a YouTube video, stating that they received a witness report claiming that Assemblyman Kim sexually assaulted intern secretary A from another assemblyman's office at a hotel in Andong, Gyeongbuk, in October 2018, when he was a parliamentary aide.
