7 New Confirmed Cases in Gyeongnam ... Total 1,559 Cases
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] As of 10 a.m. on the 11th, Gyeongnam Province announced that a total of 7 confirmed cases have occurred: 4 in Geoje, 2 in Changwon, and 1 in Gimhae.
In Geoje, among the 4 confirmed cases, 2 tested positive after contact with confirmed cases within the province and were classified as numbers 1559 and 1560.
Two others with unknown infection routes also tested positive and were classified as numbers 1557 and 1558.
The 2 cases in Changwon were infected at a local church and were classified as numbers 1561 and 1562.
The single confirmed case in Gimhae is related to an insurance company in Busan and was classified as number 1556.
Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province have increased to 1,559 (309 hospitalized, 1,245 discharged, 5 deceased).
