[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 10th, Jeon Ju-hye, a member of the People Power Party, announced that she will propose the "Basic Act on the Status and Service of Soldiers" amendment, which strengthens regulations on soldiers' leave, outings, and overnight stays.
The amendment stipulates that when using or extending leave, outings, or overnight stays, the soldier must apply in person, obtain prior approval, and the approver must immediately record and manage it.
