Lotte Department Store's Live Broadcast '100 Live' Is Changing
Operating 5 Regular Weekly Segments
Increasing Monthly Broadcast Frequency by Over 40%
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] The live broadcast channel '100 Live,' operated by Lotte Department Store, is undergoing a transformation.
Lotte Department Store announced on the 10th, "This year, we will produce content emphasizing 'entertainment' and 'experience' in our existing live broadcasts to ensure diversity," adding, "We will establish regular weekly segments and increase the number of broadcasts per month by more than 40% compared to last year." The number of broadcasts, which was only 30 times per month at the time of its launch in December 2019, increased to about 180 times per month by the end of last year, more than sixfold. Lotte Department Store has set a goal of 300 broadcasts per month this year.
The regular weekly segments will be presented every weekday at 2 p.m. with five different concepts. A representative segment is the new 'Saengsaeng Live,' which airs every Wednesday and offers a sense of presence and fun by visiting local specialty production sites and regional restaurants. On the 20th, it plans to focus on the Seol Hanwoo set by visiting famous restaurants in Busan, such as the Haeundae Amso Galbi restaurant.
