Mayor Kang Young-seok visited Wangsang History Park, which opened on this day, carefully inspected the screening operation and site, and encouraged the medical staff struggling in the severe cold. He then visited religious facilities in the area, recommending that various religious activities be switched to non-face-to-face (online) formats and urged everyone to work together to prevent COVID-19.
Mayor Kang emphasized, "Although everyone is physically and mentally exhausted due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, citizens should refrain from gatherings, comply with the ban on assemblies of five or more people, and strictly follow personal quarantine rules when going out inevitably."
