Watch 'TVING' with Naver Membership Too
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Naver membership members will be able to use CJ's online video service (OTT) 'TVING' as early as next month.
On the 8th, a Naver official stated, "We are promoting a plan to affiliate TVING with the 'Naver Plus Membership' service."
Naver membership is a membership system where, by paying 4,900 KRW per month, members can earn up to 5% of the amount paid on Naver Shopping back as Naver Pay points. Currently, there are 2.5 million subscribers.
When joining the membership, Naver provides 20 'Cookies' that can be exchanged for webtoons, 300 play rights on the music platform VIBE, and an additional 100GB usage voucher for Naver Cloud. TVING is expected to be included among these benefits.
TVING is a service where users can watch CJ-affiliated broadcasting channels such as tvN and JTBC content. It offers various subscription plans ranging from 7,900 KRW to 13,900 KRW per month depending on the number of simultaneous viewers. Since TVING's service price is higher than Naver's, both parties are designing a new TVING usage pass specifically for Naver members.
