Shilla University (President Kim Chung-seok) held an appointment ceremony for a specialized legal advisory committee for international students on January 7th in the president's office.
Shilla University appointed attorney Ryu In-jun as a legal advisor to support international students who face difficulties due to legal disputes arising from living in an unfamiliar environment.
Attorney Ryu will serve as Shilla University's dedicated legal advisor for international students for the next three years. He will provide legal consultations to international students and assist them in settling into life in Korea.
A representative from Shilla University's Office of International Exchange stated, “International students residing in Korea sometimes become involved in unexpected legal disputes due to emotional and cultural differences.”
He added, “Professional legal consultation will greatly help international students adapt to life in Korea and increase their satisfaction with university life.”
Attorney Ryu In-jun said, “I will strive to help international students studying at Shilla University maintain stable academic performance and living conditions,” and “I will actively support international students in settling well in Korea by utilizing legal knowledge.”
