Miryang-si Implements 2021 Multi-family Housing Subsidy Support Project
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 7th that it will implement the '2021 Apartment Subsidy Support Project' to improve the ancillary and welfare facilities of aging apartment complexes and enhance the residential environment for residents.
The application targets are 26 apartment complexes with more than 20 households that are over 10 years old, and 16 small-scale apartment complexes with fewer than 20 households that are over 10 years old. The total subsidy budget is 450 million KRW.
The support includes roads and their ancillary facilities within the apartment complex, water supply and sewage facilities, senior citizen centers, children's playgrounds, landscaping facilities, demolition of fences, and expansion of parking lots. For apartment complexes over 25 years old, exterior wall painting and rooftop waterproofing work are also supported.
The application period is until the 31st, with the project target complexes to be selected in March and the project scheduled to be completed by the end of October.

A city official stated, "Through the apartment subsidy support project, we will do our best to improve the safety and residential environment of aging and small-scale apartment complexes, enhance the convenience of residents, and improve the urban landscape."
