Continued Promotion of 'Youth Housing Support Policy' to Alleviate Monthly Rent Burden for Young Adults
Expanding Youth Housing 'Geobuk-i House 2~4' to Alleviate Young Adults' Housing Concerns
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongnam Province announced on the 7th that it will continue to promote youth housing support policies this year to help young people settle in the region and alleviate the burden of housing costs.
First, following the 'Geobuk-i House 1' which received great response last year by providing affordable and safe housing spaces for youth, three additional 'Geobuk-i Houses' will open this year in Sambang-dong, Gimhae, Yonggang-dong, Sacheon, and Goseong-eup, Goseong-gun.
To ease the burden of jeonse and monthly rent for youth, the province plans to fully support the guarantee fee for 300 households of non-homeowners who sign lease contracts for houses with a jeonse deposit of 100 million KRW or less when subscribing to the jeonse deposit return guarantee.
In addition, a housing information platform will be established to quickly deliver customized housing information to youth and newlyweds.
