Gwangjin-gu Publishes COVID Storybook 'It's Okay Just the Way You Are'
Publication of a Booklet Depicting Daily Life in the COVID Era... Featuring Stories and Photos from Residents... Conveying Determination and Hope to Overcome COVID with Warm Stories
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) has published a storybook titled 'It's Okay Just the Way It Is Now,' capturing everyday life during the COVID-19 era.
This book was prepared to record the changes in daily life caused by COVID-19 and to share the determination and hope to overcome the pandemic with the residents.
First, the district held a participation event to collect residents' COVID-related episodes, including images that residents posted directly on SNS, aiming to reflect the actual daily lives of the residents.
Additionally, a warm design was applied to comfort the weary daily lives of residents, and the book was composed of short stories that anyone can easily read.
The main contents include themes related to COVID-19 that residents can relate to, such as staying at home, safe restaurants, screening clinics, kind landlords, and online classes.
The book is available at community service centers and major multi-use facilities for easy access by residents, and it can also be viewed on the Gwangjin-gu Office website (Gwangjin Introduction - District Promotion - Gwangjin eBook).
