Customer and Market-Centered Management
Emphasizing Digital Transformation and More
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Cho Jwa-jin, CEO of Lotte Card, emphasized in his New Year's message, "Let's create our own Lotte Card in our own way."
On the 4th, through the company's internal non-face-to-face collaboration platform 'Teams,' CEO Cho stated, "This year presents many challenges such as the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the reduction of the maximum interest rate, and the recalculation of merchant commission rates."
CEO Cho presented five directions for the path Lotte Card should take. He said, "We must practice outside-in customer and market-centric management by thinking and making decisions from the perspective of external customers," and added, "We also need to focus on maximizing the use of our own assets."
He continued, "We must create our own identity as a true financial company faithful to the essence of the credit card business," emphasizing, "Digital transformation is a matter of survival; digital must become a daily part of our working methods and areas. We must actively read, understand, and lead the changes of the new era, and swiftly advance our own digital business model."
