Yongsan-gu, Recruiting 44 Participants for Local Quarantine Personnel

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seongjanghyun) is recruiting participants for the first half of 2021 local quarantine job project until the 13th.
The target projects include 22 locations such as community service centers, comprehensive social welfare centers, Yongsan Art Hall, Itaewon Tourism Special Zone, and road facilities, covering quarantine tasks (checking visitors' body temperature, guiding social distancing, disinfecting door handles, etc.).
The project period is five months from February 1 to June 30, and a total of 44 people will be selected.
Working days are Monday to Friday every week, and daily working hours are 4 to 6 hours. The wage is 52,320 KRW per day (based on 6 hours of work), and an additional 5,000 KRW is paid for incidental expenses.
The recruitment target is Yongsan-gu residents aged 18 or older as of the project start date who have experienced unemployment or business closure due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Those participating in financially supported job projects or families of public officials after the application start date cannot apply.
Those who wish to participate should bring an application form, consent form for information provision, job registration certificate, resident registration copy, ID card, etc., and visit the local community service center.
Employment protection targets, North Korean defectors, female heads of households, etc., must prepare related documents for additional points.

The district will conduct an internal review and announce the successful candidates (individual notification) on the 27th. Applicants must provide a contactable phone number on the application form. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified separately.
