Naver "Full Support for Smart Order Payment Fees for Small Businesses"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver announced on the 3rd that it will fully support payment fees for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using the 'Smart Order' service until March this year.
Smart Order is a non-face-to-face ordering function on Naver that allows users to search for store information, place orders, and make payments.
Naver had provided full support for payment fees free of charge from April last year until the end of the year to help SMEs struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). However, as COVID-19 resurged, Naver decided to extend the support policy until March 31 to help SMEs' businesses as well as encourage participation in social distancing.
Naver stated, "We decided to extend the support period to assist business owners who are experiencing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation."
In addition to supporting payment fees, Naver has also supported increasing sales for business owners by offering 1,000 points for orders over 3,000 won when using Smart Order for takeout.
