On the same day, Yoo Seung-min posted on Facebook, "Serious violations of life and human rights are occurring in detention centers and nursing hospitals, yet the Moon Jae-in administration insists only on cohort isolation," pointing out, "How is this different from the Sewol ferry captain who told people to 'just wear life jackets and wait'?"
He further emphasized, "The government’s responsibility for endangering the lives and human rights of the people in detention centers and nursing hospitals must be thoroughly investigated."
In response, Shin Dong-geun, Supreme Council member of the Democratic Party of Korea, wrote on Facebook, "You should compare things that are comparable..." and rebutted, "This is not only excessive but also appears to be intended solely to provoke political strife."
