According to a report by 'Yonhap News' on the 31st, Kwak Jin-young was moved to a hospital in Yeosu, Jeonnam, where her kimchi company is located, on the previous day (30th) and received treatment. She regained consciousness on the morning of the 31st.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Kwak Jin-young had recently been suffering from mental distress due to malicious comments. Entertainment media 'TV Daily' quoted a close associate of Kwak, saying, "Kwak recently expressed her difficulties to acquaintances due to continuous malicious comments," and reported that she experienced psychological burden because of this.
According to another entertainment media 'OSEN,' some malicious commenters reportedly harassed Kwak Jin-young by calling or sending text messages to her.
Kwak Jin-young debuted in 1991 as part of MBC's 20th public talent recruitment. Since then, she has appeared in various dramas such as 'Eyes of Dawn,' 'Love in Your Arms,' 'Son and Daughter,' and 'Seoul Nocturne,' gaining public recognition.
In 2010, she became the CEO of a kimchi company named after the character she played in the drama 'Son and Daughter,' which she currently operates. Recently, she also appeared on the SBS variety show 'Burning Youth.'
