According to the legal community on the 31st, the Seoul Administrative Court Administrative Division 1 (Presiding Judge An Jonghwa) will hold a hearing on the afternoon of the 7th of next month for the suspension of execution of the nomination resolution filed by opposition party CIO nomination committee member lawyer Lee Heon against the CIO Chief Nomination Committee.
Earlier, on the 28th, lawyer Lee filed a main lawsuit to confirm the invalidity of the nomination resolution and a suspension of execution application, claiming that when Lee Geon-ri, Vice Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and Kim Jin-wook, Senior Researcher at the Constitutional Court, were selected as the final candidates for CIO Chief, the vote was forced ahead without the attendance of the opposition party’s nomination committee members, ignoring procedural legitimacy.
