Yuhan-Kimberly Appoints Jin Jae-seung as New CEO and President
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 31st that Jin Jaeseung, President and CEO, will be appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 1.
Jin was recently confirmed as Yuhan-Kimberly's next CEO through board approval.
Jin majored in Physics at Hanyang University and Business Administration (EMBA) at Seoul National University Graduate School of Business. After joining Yuhan-Kimberly in 1989, he led product innovation as the head of the Personal Care Product Development Office and R&D leader.
Since 2010, he has led major business divisions including the company's future vision project team, infant and child products business, online business, and women and senior business sectors.
Additionally, he served as Director of Personal Care R&D for Kimberly-Clark North Asia in 2003 and as General Manager of the Household Care division in North America, including the United States, in 2016, earning recognition for his management skills and sales growth.
Yuhan-Kimberly explained that the eco-friendly product design led by Jin, the innovative domestic sanitary pad "White" that achieved a decisive victory against global competitors, and the research and development of nature-friendly daily necessities such as Huggies Naturemade diapers, Green Finger skincare, and Lanature sanitary pads are regarded as successful cases of management innovation highly praised both inside and outside the company and in the market.

Jin's inauguration ceremony will be held on January 4. Due to social distancing measures in response to the resurgence of COVID-19, the event will be conducted online.
