Suseo High-Speed Rail to Reduce Train Intervals Starting Next Month 5
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] SR, the operator of the Suseo High-Speed Railway (SRT), announced on the 30th that it will adjust the stops and departure times of some SRT trains to ensure safe operation and customer convenience.
Starting from January 5 next year, the operation plan will be adjusted to increase the number of stops at stations along the SRT route.
The additional daily stops by station are 2 times at Dongtan Station, 3 times at Jije Station, 3 times at Cheonan-Asan Station, and 1 time each at Singyeongju Station and Ulsan Station. With the increased number of stops, it is expected that customer inconvenience caused by long intervals between trains will be partially alleviated.
For departure stations such as Suseo Station, Busan Station, and Gwangju Songjeong Station, departure times will be changed to secure maintenance time and prevent train concentration during specific time periods.
