According to the Miryang-style special quarantine and spread prevention measures, the city plans to conduct guidance and inspections in accordance with stricter and more specific quarantine rules, such as ▲ strengthening networks with hospitals and pharmacies for rapid screening of suspected cases ▲ expanding from selective testing to universal testing ▲ special inspections of quarantine management at nursing hospitals ▲ food culture improvement campaigns ▲ prohibition of gatherings of five or more people ▲ online relay promotion of special quarantine rules.

Mayor Park Il-ho said, “Stronger quarantine reinforcement measures and practical daily life practices are more necessary than ever to block the spread of COVID-19,” and added, “We ask for citizens’ active participation in complying with personal quarantine rules such as wearing masks, refraining from year-end and New Year gatherings and outings, minimizing contact with others, and refraining from New Year sunrise viewing.”
