Guri City to Conduct Phased Special Quarantine Inspections Until January 3 Next Year
Five Restaurants and Cafes, Three Entertainment Bars, and One Bathhouse Caught
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Guri City, Gyeonggi Province, will conduct a special step-by-step quarantine reinforcement inspection according to government policy until January 3 next year.
The city announced on the 30th, "The year-end and New Year holidays could be a critical turning point in the third wave of COVID-19, and we ask for the active cooperation of citizens to prevent the spread in the local community."
Each public official is matched one-to-one with 10 to 15 multi-use facilities to guide and inspect compliance with quarantine rules. Additionally, 100 'Life Quarantine Keepers' workers are hired as part of a desired job program to patrol restaurants, cafes, entertainment bars, karaoke rooms, beauty salons, bathhouses, and marts, promoting and educating on compliance with social distancing and quarantine guidelines according to each stage.
