[Photo] 'Looking Forward to the Day We Take Off Our Masks'
The biggest issue of 2020 was undoubtedly the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). This new infectious disease, which initially had no precise name, swept across the globe throughout the year, plunging the entire world into fear. Its end is still unknown. In South Korea, everything changed after the first confirmed case was reported on January 20. Masks became the most significant visible change amid this situation. Wearing them became not just a part of daily life but an obligation. In the new year of 2021, the Year of the Ox, we hope COVID-19 will end soon so that we can take off our suffocating masks and smile brightly again.
