Despite the difficult circumstances caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) this year, the City Council carried out various legislative activities to resolve local issues, including measures to revitalize the stagnant local economy and stabilize citizens' lives.
Throughout the year, 248 agenda items were processed, including 30 ordinances proposed by council members, 27 five-minute free speeches, 2 city administration questions, and 1 recommendation, all dedicated to legislative activities aimed at resolving residents' complaints and promoting current projects.
Additionally, through active field activities, the council verified the feasibility and progress of projects, and through administrative audits, delivered a total of 239 requests and recommendations for correction and handling, suggesting improvements to unreasonable systems and proper policy directions.
