SH Corporation Delivers 600 Sets of Winter and Hygiene Supplies to Homeless People
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 29th that it delivered 600 sets of 'SH Ttasum Bags' containing winter and hygiene supplies worth a total of 50 million KRW to homeless people in Seoul who have been struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This sponsorship was conducted in a non-face-to-face manner instead of a delivery ceremony to prevent COVID-19 infection. SH Corporation explained that with the help of the Seoul Homeless Facilities Association in selecting and delivering the items, they ensured the supplies would be practically helpful to the homeless.
The 'SH Ttasum Bag' is composed of winter boots, winter socks, backpacks, and other items to help homeless people stay healthy during the cold winter. Masks and hand sanitizers were also included to ensure safety amid the prolonged COVID-19 situation. Additionally, 15,000 hot packs were separately prepared to be distributed to the homeless throughout the winter as needed.

Kim Se-yong, President of SH Corporation, said, "In previous years, many people gathered at the end of the year to volunteer for neighbors or share kimchi, directly delivering warmth. Although it is very regrettable that this year we only delivered supplies non-face-to-face, I sincerely hope it helps the homeless have a healthier and safer winter."
