8 Public Institutions Including KAMCO Provide 50 Million Won Support to Social Economy Enterprises
Support of 80 Million KRW Provided to 31 Companies Through Two Rounds of Crowd Matching Funding This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation) and eight other public institutions in the Busan area announced on the 29th that they have provided matching investment funds of 50 million KRW to 18 social economy enterprises that achieved their target amounts in the second crowdfunding project this year.
The second crowdfunding project held in November was promoted to support market development and sales expansion for social economy enterprises and small business cooperatives in the Busan area. If a participating company achieves its target sales (funding) amount, the Busan Social Economy Support Fund (BEF) provides additional matching funds on top of the target amount.
Among the 18 social economy enterprises that reached their funding goals were projects such as ‘Nakdonggang Wetland Kayak Plogging’ and ‘Anggeum Flower Rice Cake.’ Through the first and second crowdfunding rounds this year, BEF has supported a total of 31 social economy enterprises with a total of 80 million KRW.
