Steady Seller 'Choco Songyi' Enhanced with White Cheese-Flavored Chocolate

Unlike the original Choco Songi, which uses real chocolate, Hayangsongi features a bold transformation by adding white cheese-flavored chocolate. This product reflects the tastes and preferences of the 10-20 age group, embodying the ‘sweet and salty’ flavor of popular snacks among young people, such as cheesecake and cheese balls. Fresh cream is also added to the biscuit, allowing consumers to enjoy a soft flavor along with a light and crispy texture. The front of the package cleverly incorporates the unique ‘fun’ concept, featuring a mushroom character striking a ‘cheese~’ pose in front of a camera. Last month, the Hayangsongi experience group recruitment content posted on Orion’s official blog and Instagram surpassed 370,000 views, generating hot buzz as a highly anticipated new product among netizens.
First released in 1984, Choco Songi has been loved for over 30 years for its combination of sweet chocolate and savory biscuit, as well as its fun shape resembling a pine mushroom. It is also very popular in various flavors in China (locally called ‘Moguli’ 磨古力) and Russia (‘Chocoboy’ CHOCO BOY).
