View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics has opened an early pre-order page for the 'Next Galaxy' in the United States ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event. This was done to offer benefits to consumers interested in the new product even before the official event invitations were sent out.
On the 28th (local time), Samsung Electronics is operating a pre-order page on the US Samsung.com homepage that provides consumers interested in the new product with a $50 credit that can be used to purchase accessories such as wireless earphones. If customers purchase the Next Galaxy phone by January 28 next year, they will receive the $50 credit. This early pre-order event in the US, ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked scheduled for the 14th of next month, aims to attract attention while also hinting at the release schedule.
The Galaxy S21 is expected to start pre-sales immediately after its unveiling on the 14th of next month and officially launch globally on the 29th of the same month. The Galaxy S21 will be available in three models: the 6.2-inch Galaxy S21, the 6.7-inch Galaxy S21 Plus, and the 6.8-inch Galaxy S21 Ultra. The prices for each model are expected to be $899 (approximately 990,000 KRW), $1,099 (approximately 1,200,000 KRW), and $1,349 (approximately 1,420,000 KRW), respectively. This means it will be released at least 150,000 KRW cheaper than its predecessor.
