[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] The court panel for the trial of a Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy official indicted for deleting data related to the Wolsong Unit 1 nuclear power plant has been decided.
According to the legal community on the 28th, the case involving three officials including Director-level A from the Ministry, who are charged with damage to public electronic records, violation of the Board of Audit and Inspection Act, and trespassing, will be handled by the Criminal Division 11 of Daejeon District Court (Presiding Judge Kim Yongchan).

Accordingly, on the 4th, Judge Oh Seyong, in charge of warrants at Daejeon District Court, issued pre-trial detention warrants for A and B. The manager, for whom a detention warrant was also requested, avoided detention.
