[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Hampyeong-gun announced on the 28th that the Hampyeong-gun Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center (Director Kim Ki-young) won the Excellence Award and a prize of 10 million won in the ‘Dong-A Multicultural Award Multicultural Contribution Organization Category.’
This year, the Hampyeong-gun Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center conducted various projects to help about 300 multicultural families in the region settle into the community.
They were also highly evaluated for promoting public awareness improvement projects to respect the diversity of multicultural families and for implementing various support projects such as translation and employment counseling.
