Ulsan City Appoints Ham Kyung-jun as Inaugural CEO of Ulsan Tourism Foundation
Experts Leading the Development of the Tourism and MICE Industry ... Official Duties Begin January 1 Next Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] On the 28th, Song Cheol-ho, Mayor of Ulsan, presented a letter of appointment to Ham Kyung-jun, the inaugural CEO of the Ulsan Tourism Foundation.
Ham Kyung-jun, the new CEO (age 59), graduated from Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration (Policy Studies) and worked for the Korea Tourism Organization for 33 years, serving as head of the Kuala Lumpur branch, head of the Hong Kong branch, director of the Tourism Brand Products Office, head of the MICE Bureau at Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, director of the Management Innovation Office, and director of the Tourism Enterprise Support Office.
He is evaluated to have accumulated diverse experience and know-how in tourism and MICE marketing, having worked overseas for the Korea Tourism Organization in countries with different market environments such as New York, Frankfurt, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong for over 11 years, and having served as head of the MICE Bureau at Gyeonggi Tourism Organization.
The Ulsan city government expects that the inaugural CEO Ham Kyung-jun will lead the development of the local tourism and MICE industry by communicating and cooperating with local tourism and MICE-related organizations based on his accumulated experience and personal network.
