Amid the resurgence of COVID-19 spread, the Center delivered over 300 COVID-19 prevention supply kits consisting of masks, disinfectants, and hand sanitizers to unauthorized alternative schools in Gyeongnam, including Changwon Eokkaedongmu School, and youth shelters, including 40 learners participating in the learning support project.
This support aims to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and infection, and to encourage out-of-school youth in the Gyeongnam region to continue their studies healthily.
A Center official stated, "This opportunity is significant as it provides support to youth at unauthorized alternative schools who are in the blind spots of government assistance," and added, "We plan to promote the learning support project to out-of-school youth who need academic recognition at the compulsory education level through continuous communication with unauthorized alternative schools."
