Gwangju Buk-gu Selects Top 7 District Policies of the Year

Next, the ‘Odd-Even Parking System’ which contributed to alleviating traffic congestion and reducing traffic inconvenience complaints, the ‘Cheer Up Buk-gu! Overcome Corona! With Corona Response System Establishment’ which built a quarantine system and carried out proactive response activities amid the spread of COVID-19, and the ‘Living SOC Project’ which enhances residents’ quality of life by expanding daily life infrastructure closely related to everyday life were named excellent policies.
Additionally, the following received encouragement awards: securing national and city funds (19.9 billion won) through the enforcement decree of the basic pension and Gwangju city ordinance revision; operating the Buk-gu Self-Employment Support Center, a warm partner for small business owners and self-employed in Buk-gu; and the Buk-gu Comprehensive Gymnasium Construction Project to expand sports infrastructure and revitalize community sports.
