4 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gwangju... Total Confirmed Cases Reach 1,037
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Four additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed overnight in Gwangju.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 27th, four people related to a nursing home and a church tested positive for COVID-19 and were newly registered as cases 1034 to 1037.
Cases 1034 and 1035 are residents of Unam-dong and Dongnim-dong in Buk-gu, both confirmed to be related to Evergreen Silver House (nursing home). Case 1035 developed symptoms during self-quarantine and underwent testing.
Since case 868 was confirmed on the 20th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to Evergreen Nursing Home has increased to 50.
Cases 1036 and 1037 are residents of Usan-dong and Wolgye-dong in Gwangsan-gu, linked to Gwangju Cheongsa Church.
